My new boots!

I don't often get to brag on this blog about my fabulous purchases, because I've been dirt poor for two years.

But...

I am now the proud owner of these vintage cowboy boots!

My favorite vintage store had them on sale and I was floored to see they were in my size. They are from the early 1970s and in quite good condition.

I had been looking for a pair of cowboy boots for a very long time. But they are always so expensive ($500 or more) and they require a lot of hard work to break them in. Since these are already broken in, they fit into my lazy lifestyle! I don't have to do anything but wear them! Yay!

Oh, and I also wanted to give you an update on The Playboy Club. One of the fans of my facebook page created an online petition to bring the show back. Click here to sign it. Thanks!

I hope you all have a great weekend! See you on Monday! xoxo

  1. LOve them! They're so cute... and I know what you mean. Most of the really nice ones are insanely expensive, unless they're lousy quality like Forever 21. Congrats on your purchase!!

  13. Jag älskar dina nya stövlar <--- That's swedish for "I love your new boots". I know this because I typed it into google translate. And also because I have a Swedish BFF. Ha!

I really do love them. I wish that I were brave enough to be fashionable. But when you dress like a boring person for years and years, it's hard to branch out without EVERYONE noticing. And I hate being noticed! So, instead, I'll admire awesome funky boots on other people. Like you.

  30. Yay! I'm so excited for you that you bought these! The fact that they are vintage is even better. I'm always amazed by the vintage finds of other bloggers. I'm either looking in the wrong places or there's nothing good where I live. I don't know but it is annoying.

  42. OMG those boots are fabulous! Such an amazing find! I think early 70s vintage is WAY better than $500 new boots any day, so much more character AND you probably won't run into anyone else with the same pair :)

Hope you had a fabulous weekend! Glad to hear there's a petition for Playboy Club, too!
