The Magical World of The Smiths

It just occurred to me that I rarely talk about Morrissey on this blog.

I'm obsessed with him, and yet he barely makes a mention here.

I suppose it's because I know most of you probably aren't as obsessed with him as I am. And I know there are a few of you who don't even know his music.

I decided that needs to change.

During my snow day yesterday, I was uber bored and while listening to The Smiths (Moz's former band) I suddenly realized a magical theme. Since I had plenty of time on my hands, I created a set of Disney memes to accompany some of my favorite Smiths (and solo) tracks, along with the song, so you can sing along.

    Oh my God, Jen! I had no idea how well The Smiths song went with Disney movies. These are perfect.

    I love The Smiths and Morrissey. I got a Best Of The Smiths cd in high school and I haven't been the same since. Can't get enough of Big Mouth Strikes Again.

    Love the Smiths...since a teenager many moons ago!! It's cool living in the Uk now as I've seen him striding down the street, kind of a bizarre trippy moment, but cool :) He's really lovely!! Have a fab weekend doll xx

    I know that I have heard music by The Smiths before, but I cannot remember any of it. A Google search is in order.

    P.S. I wonder if you could wear lip plumper just on your upper lip, that way it balances out? :/

    I LOVE The Smiths and I never thought about any relation with Disney movies.

    I have always been a huge Smiths fan! I absolutely love the memes. I would definitely never have guessed that Moz/Disney had a chocolate/peanut butter thing going on, but somehow this definitely works! Love it!

    Love these memes! There's this new app I discovered called 8tracks and you can basically mash up genres & I found a Disney x hiphop playlist today -- this reminded me of that!

    LOL! I love that their lyrics go so well with Disney movies. I wonder if anybody else noticed that before reading this post? It kind of makes me wonder if other bands have themes too?
