I hope those who celebrate Easter had a lovely one this weekend.
Mine was okay.
I spent the morning at church with our adorable Patrick Dempsey look-alike pastor. You can read more about him here.

This morning, he was his usual handsome, charming self, radiating with passion and expertise on the Holy Bible. For our Easter sermon, he compared the resurrection of Christ to the plot lines from a few television dramas and then he spent 20 minutes describing Jesus as a homemade salsa. I had no idea what he was talking about, but it didn't matter. He could have recited the actual TV Guide word-for-word and I would have given him a standing ovation.
Oh, and before I forget, here is the outfit I wore.

Jacket, vintage; dress, beach shop in Santa Monica; shoes, SAS

A closeup of the jacket and my vintage swarovski crystal necklace.

A close up of the ring I got from an Indian boutique in Chicago last month. I thought it matched the jacket pretty well. (I'm sorry about my awful polish-chipped nails).
The rest of the day was pretty uneventful. My parents and I watched Lethal Weapon 1 and 2. We had a nice, home-cooked meal.
Of course, no holiday in our household is complete without the usual screaming fights. But I don't really want to get into those right now. Ha.
I stuffed myself on chocolate marshmallow eggs and peeps.
So I probably gained another five pounds this weekend.
Who wants to start a diet with me tomorrow?!
