Jenny in Wonderland

Okay, I'm not really in Wonderland. More like Wonderhell these days.

But despite being fabulously unemployed and being tremendously confused and depressed about every aspect of my life, I am still managing to squeeze in a little fun.

Kerrie and I finally saw Alice in Wonderland this week.

We saw it in 3D. It was such a beautiful, cute, and quirky film. I enjoyed every minute of it. It was definitely a delightful twist to the book.

After the movie Kerrie and I met Rian for sushi.

The food was good but the service was terrible. The restaurant, despite being busy all the time, is notorious for its bad service. But it is still considered one of the most decent sushi places in the area, so...haha.

It was nice to have a day of fun and relaxation after all the stress I have been facing.

Oh, and in case you were curious, here is what I wore:

sushi dress
dress, Urban Outfitters; jacket, Express; shoes, Gap; bag, Louis Vuitton

I hope you are all having a wonderful week! xoxo

Hello, gorgeous girl! Looks like a well-deserved treat. I hate bad service but if the food was good you can let that go sometimes.
Hope that life improves for you soon.

Jennifer you look gorgeous!!! I love your outfit and um....you are really making me crave sushi! haha in Rome it is not so easy to find, although the Italian food is enough to satisfy. :) I really want to see that movie too! Looks like you had a good time, although I know things are still tough for you. Hang in there....we all adore you. :)

I want to see this! Glad it was good- esp in 3D. I think I want my bday party in May to be an Alice in Wonderland (well Jaime in Wonderland) theme :)

I remember this dress from a previous post and I looooove it on you! You're def F-A-B-ulous!

I can't tell you how good it makes me feel to see you and Kerrie hanging out together. Huge smile from me!

This post reminds me of a Japanese restaurant Sandy and I went to. She's gonna shake her head in disdain at this story but I think it was pretty funny! Our server was a gorgeous Japanese girl (Asian women have a tremendous natural beauty to me).

Anyway, until Sandy mentioned it after the meal, I hadn't picked up on the fact that the entire time this girl was paying attention to me only. We think it's probably due to a very traditional upbringing, as she barely spoke a word of English.

I laugh every time I think of it!

Thanks for the wonderful comments about the jewellery ... I'm so glad you liked them. The ring wasn't part of the set but it just seemed perfect. I hope it fits ok. Just don't get it wet. Same with all the jewellery.

I hope you have a great weekend hunny. You deserve it!
