The past week has been miserable for me, but I did have one little glimmer of happiness. My dear friend Barry, from Life in Quotations, honored me with the Happy Award. He is one of the most awesome people I have ever met (online or offline) in my life. Please check out his blog!

I'm just now catching up, but wanted to offer my belated condolences for your loss. It's hard to understand why people make the decisions they make, but I think the best thing to do right now is be supportive of his wife and child and the tremendously difficult journey they have to face right now. You're in my thoughts.
