Falling Down the Staircase

Now that fashion design school is winding down for Kerrie, she has a lot more time to hang out with me!

This week we went shopping at a place downtown we normally don't go. It was a refreshing change of scenery.

Kerrie wore her new H&M shirt and a skirt she recently made.

I wore my favorite sun dress from Target and my Banana Republic denim jacket.

We then tripped down a staircase in front of a group of businessmen who were in town for a conference.

We felt the pattern of the carpet was too busy for a staircase and therefore, it was not our fault that we fell.

We came across a wishing pond. We both wished to become rich and famous within the next year.

And then we had lunch in a fake train.

And had giant ice cream cones for dessert!

It was good sober times again. Aren't you proud of us?

right - because you never hung out before, lol. Nice post J. thanks for your blog comments. However, I fear life is totally boring; especially today with TWO f... council meetings.

Well that pattern is a danger! I think they put it on purpose and they are just recording people for a comedy show or something!..but oh well what is life without a few trips and falls haha...remember is ok to fall if you land with style haha...fun day I love the big ice cream! my new obsession Passion Fruit Ice Cream its just ohh so delicious!

You cannot be serious.
That's a staircase?
Dude.
My ass would have tumbled down the entire thing.
I have a history of falling down flights of stairs.
Definitely not your fault for embarrassing yourself in front of everyone.

Okay, I LOVE these photographs! And I've got to agree with you...the print on the carpeting of those stairs IS way too busy - I'm surprised they haven't been sued yet for it; just looking at it makes me dizzy! :P

Slight deathtrap but I have to admit, that rug would look wickedly nice in a different context. :)

That train cafe would make my little boys so happy.

p.s. thank you so much for your valuable info at my post about Kate's dress. I was trying to google some articles about her wish for a small wedding but couldn't find any link. :)

That is quite the busy staircase. So you both tripped and fell? At the same time?

I hope you were both okay!

Looks like the two of you had a great time! I can totally understand how you tripped on those stairs - what a safety hazard to use that pattern! Love both of your outfits! Such a great dress and I love her skirt.

Sounds like the perfect day out. Haha, I agree, whoever would put carpeting like that on a staircase is insane! Lunch inside a train? With ice cream afterwards? That sounds like the best meal ever! http://thearcenciel.blogspot.com/
