Halloween 2009

I hope everyone had a fantastic Halloween.

Mine was a lot of fun.

I went as Pocahontas.

(Sorry for my messy apartment!)

Rian and I kicked off the night by attending a seance held at a haunted bookstore near our apartment.

There were two psychics there from New Orleans who told us our future using tarot cards and by reading our palms. We also met a medium from St. Louis who tried to contact the ghost who haunts the bookstore.

I drank a lot of vampire wine there.

Later that night I went to my friend Nadine's Halloween party, which she has every year. She always has the best parties with fun games and delicious food.

My friend Brittany showed up as a Native American to the party as well, except she represented a different tribe. She tried to kill me.

It was a goofy, fun night. I got drunk. That's really all that's left to say about that. Haha.

On a completely different note, my laptop computer is dying a slow death. It now takes me one hour and forty-five minutes to post a blog. It takes 15 minutes for me to post a comment. It takes me 30 minutes to attach something in an e-mail. It takes 20 minutes for every single e-mail to send. It is torture. I can't afford a new laptop so I'm not sure what I'm going to do.

And I have to work the afternoon crime shift today.

Boo!

Jen, seance in a haunted bookstore? How friggin' cool is that? Nice outfit kiddo, was Rian dressed as a civilian? lol :)

And something tells me getting drunk isn't the end of THAT story, maybe it's just all you remember. Ha ha.

As far as your laptop goes, how old is it? It just might need a 'tune-up' instead of replacement (which would be a hell of a lot cheaper).

Keep smiling sweetie!

Pocahontas is my favorite Disney Princess ever! When I was little I used to go around with a microphone, singing Colors of the Wind to everyone. So, um, yeah.

Sweetheart! Thank you for dedicating 15minutes for commenting, and another 45minutes for a fab post. I love your dress up, when I was little I was ALWAYS Pocahontas. I grew up in rural Africa and my British counsin thought that I was a tribal nomad just like Pocahontas. I'll try to dig out some images! xoxo

I'm sorry to hear about your laptop. Though I'm glad to know that you had a fun Halloween!

I have wanted to be Pocahontas for years; but I never end up making/buying a costume to do so. Yours is absolutely adorable. And a haunted bookstore? How much fun! :)

Look at you my like Pocapoo! Too cute and I that photo of your life being threatened kills me.

Um, small head??? Really. Looks perfectly sized to me. I am a lollipop - big head, skinny body so yeah, I don't have much probs with that, LOL. I love that we're scarf twins - when we meet - we'll wear them at the airport, HAHA.

Oh no your laptop sounds sick :(
Is it still on warranty?

Oh and I've been meaning to answer your Q...no S doesn't get the craddle robber thing - that I know of...he looks pretty young too - youngish...he's got quite a bit of grey now but a young face. He's a few years older than me though.
