What I really want for Christmas this year (what money can't buy):
1. A magic eraser to shed twenty pounds from this delicate five foot tall frame.
2. A father who treats me with respect, kindness, and understanding.
3. Upward mobility in my career.
4. A boyfriend who loves me unconditionally and who never hurts me.
5. More friends to hang out with because being lonely sucks.
6. A Christmas filled with peace and love, rather than bitterness and stress.
7. More time in the day, more days in the week to do everything I need to do.
8. To have more adventures, instead of fearing the consequences.
9. Good health for the rest of my life.
10. Happiness

This is a very real list... they are indeed priceless. The first one made me laugh but the rest made me ponder.
My Christmas list that money can't buy? I always have this wish every Christmas and the whole year round... that my boys will be able to cope with the stress of daily life and they be granted their dreams.
My wish is selfless... it is just for my kids.

I just want to finish up my BA and move on to bigger and better things in my education and career - that is my true Christmas wish. Though I'm labeling it as a birthday wish as well, seeing as how I officially blow out the candles on Monday!!

Beautifully honest list honey. Some of the solutions to these can only be found from within, and I think you know what they are. Some can only come from others and are beyond your control. It sucks but sometimes we're forced to either cut those cancerous parts of our life loose or find peace with the fact that they may not ever change, and they are what they are.
All I'm certain of is that Sandy and I DO love you unconditionally and are always around for you. You're one of the sweetest people we've met this year; I can't count the number of times we've almost melted reading your comments.

I love lady Gaga, she always helps someone get in a great mood, huh? I like your list, very honest and I agree with a lot of it. It is hard being lonely sometimes and it is hard with the boyfriend's can't be perfect...but I guess we are only human. Go and fight your fears love, no matter the circumstances. Oh and I am so with you on the weight stuff, hopefully we both can get our butts in gear, lol!

lovely post. I'm currently visiting my home town I have less and less friends... It's like people who are calling me to hang out wants something from me whether it's a job referal or something to do with photography. Bah. Good friends are so hard to come by. And as for what I want for Christmas I went out and bought myself a Canon SLR camera YAYYYYYYYYY if you want something you gotta do it yourself right? ;) LOL. I've had so many people tell me I should get published, I'm going to look into it in the new year. As you know my writing leans towards relationships, the romantic and soft erotica. I'm friends with a printer and also know somone who's had her romantic novel published on-line, so you never know...

when i saw number 2 on your list my heart almost stopped. i have a father who doesn't respect or understand me. i could go on and on but i'm tired of thinking about it. anyway, i don't know your story but i'd like to have a father who does all of the things a good, sane, god-fearing/loving father should.
